, who want to build a 10MW solar farm on land south of Southwick, between Mutton Marsh Farm and Pole's Hole Farm.

They say it would provide enough power to meet the electricity requirements of around 3,030 average UK homes, for the 30-year lifetime of the project.

A mixed species grass meadow, to be grazed by sheep, would be created beneath and around the solar panels.

A public exhibition will be held from on Wednesday 28th January at Southwick Village Hall from 3-7pm.
